Born in Atlanta, Georgia Corliss NeKole Hambrick, begin to get into dance at the age of 5 with the influence of her older cousin Crystal Blade, which led to other things.The love of music was already instilled in her by Her parents Darryl Hambrick and Paris Hambrick,as well as her mothers side of the family. Her mother always instilled the qualities of being an entrepreneur and to always be her woman.
Not only was Corliss into Music and dance but she love Performing arts in general,acting, and art which took her down the road of fashion designing. Her Mother Paris and her Grandmother helped along the way teaching her how to sew,teaching her about material. She soon joined the band in 2001 at Kendrick Middle School which led on to her joining the Mighty Marching Bulldawgs At Mount Zion High School in Jonesboro,Georgia (to later become a drum major with to of best friends Elonte Chandler and Quentin Gill)Within the first semester of her freshman year she decided to come up with her own business called LR (LyriQal Rhythm) so she could share with the world her vision. Her Senior year of high school she joined an organization called "Hearts to Nourish Hope(HTNH)" which gave her a great jump start in the industry.They had a music business program to give students a taste of what the industry would be like also prepping them for the real world. Everyone was placed into groups to build their own business and create a song for HTNH and whoever created the best song and business plan got to perform at the end of the program. Corliss's group was called "Lr Entertainment" she was the CEO working along with others : MsShay,Catty Boo & Ty. They created a song called "#1" and won the competition.
She also released a short film with Dany Nieves in 2008 called "Shining Armor/Versalletes" which is was aired Internationally.Soon Corliss began school in 2008 at Alabama State University(ASU), double majoring in Music Education and Recording Industry Business. She also became a proud member of the Mighty Marching Hornets.While Attending ASU she met her teacher(also an Entertainment Lawyer) Dr.Willam Ashbourne and Band Director Dr. James Oliver and others who inspired her to work hard and network her way up the ladder of success. She joined M.E.I.S.A( Music & Entertainment Industry Student Association) and the Grammy U Chapter in Atlanta( The Recording Academy). Which opened doors to some of the greatest events in the industry.
